Hi can someone advise an easy way to drive both these great trains i get power on for short time then it goes off with a strange screeching noise, anyone help?

Hello, you probably need to disable Vacma (A safety device on French loco), with shift + K keys, before starting.

And also, don't forget to action the comma (" , ") to release the loco break.

 

It's comma on an AZERTY keyboard, at the right of the "N" keypad.

bonjour mes amis français!! i am still struggling to get this great french train to run, i have followed above but no good, i start the train ok but after 5MPH the train makes an emergency stop! with a weird screeching noise so no good im desperate to drive these trains, also in trains 2012 the cab is upside down? can someone send me english instructions to drive in simple mode? merci! :)

hi satnur, thanks for your response, yes im using on electrified lines? as i say trains pulls off but its like an emergency stop....?

Hi Lyleman,

 

You should deactivate the VACMA before pulling off your train, just press shift+K to deactivate it. Vacma is a dead man system used in France.
