Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, les Animals étaient un groupe formé dans les années 60 par Eric Burdon (chant), Alan Price (claviers), Hilton Valentine (guitare), Chass Chandler (basse) et John Steel (batterie). Ils furent connus pour leur hit "The house of the rising sun" adapté par notre Johnny franco-belge national sous le nom des portes du pénitencier. Les Animals après moult problèmes furent dissous... et se reformèrent en 1977 pour des raisons financières et sortirent un album "Before we were so rudely interrupted", dont voici un (excellent) extrait :

Un p'tit dernier pour finir la soirée... Led Zeppelin (je rappelle qui c'est : Robert Plant, chant ; Jimmy Page, toutes sortes de guitares ; John Paul Jones, basse & claviers ; John Bonham, batterie) sortit en 1973 l'album "House of the Holy". Le morceau ouvrant cet album, quasi-instrumental, s'appelle "the song remains the same". Je vous le colle ici... une vraie merveille, qui prouve à ceux qui en douteraient que Led Zep' est composé de musiciens fabuleux...

Gandalf parlait de "Play it loud", et pour les vieux comme moi, ce terme rappelle... Slade (Noddy Holder : hurlements, chant et guitare - Dave Hill : guitare - Jimmy Lea : basse - Don Powell (batterie) + pantalons à carreaux, rouflaquettes, semelles compensées) dans une adaptation maison d'un hit de Ten Years After, "Hear me calling" (promis, Papic, je ne reviens pas sur ce fil avant lundi) :

Ah Butterfly Ball.... R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio, il nous manque...

Formation avec le fabuleux Geezer Butler, l'inusable Vinnie Appice et évidemment Tony Iommi, m'en lasserai jamais... part 2 énormissime. La meilleure version, après le Live Evil de 1982, malheureusement pas dispo en vidéo.
